do you know the real story of Medusa

 

Medusa began as a beautiful Maiden

 

who wanted nothing more than

to serve in the temple of Athena

 

she was kind generous and most importantly pure

 

her Perfection Beauty and virtue

eventually garnished the attention of Poseidon

 

the great and Majestic god of the seas

Poseidon did his best to woo the Mortal Medusa

 

but was painfully rejected

all Medusa wanted was to remain pure

 

and serve Athena

Poseidon still jealous that

 

Athens had made Athena their Patron deity and not him

 

He saw an opportunity to avenge

for two perceived wrongs

and so he took Medusa by force

 

from the altar of Athena's Temple

it was a humiliation and disgrace

that Athena would not take lightly

instead of punishing Poseidon

 

however Athena blamed Medusa

Medusa turning her into a hideous monster

 

so all who even looked upon her 

would be turned to stone
