with the Lu State.

Mencius told him:
"The
reason why your people are like this is because when they suffered from famine,
the
officials concealed the disaster from the court
and allowed the victims to be displaced and hungry on the streets.
Now of
course they will repay this attitude.
Zengzi is
not Someone once warned: "What you do now will be
rewarded in the same way."
If you
implement benevolent policies (仁政) from now on, the
people will definitely be rewarded accordingly.
It evolved as a metaphor
that how you treat others will be how others will treat you.
