Simon the Scarecrow

Simon the scarecrow stood in the cornfield.

He had a red shirt and a pumpkin head.

Simon’s job was to

keep the birds away from the corn.

 

One day, Simon saw a flock of crows in the sky.

 

He heard them talking about the yummy corn in the field.

 

Simon watched as the crows landed in the field.

 

The crows started to eat the corn.

 

Simon shook his arms.
