Later, once, the old monk entered meditation for eighteen days.

Other people on the mountain knew about it and came to pay homage to him.

He felt bored, so the two of them headed towards Mount Emei with their backpacks on their backs.

One night, the two of them spent the night in a small, abandoned temple.

The old monk said that while he was sleeping until midnight, Master Jiechen was bitten by a flea, so he put the flea on the ground.

The flea fell to the ground and lost its leg.

The old monk heard the flea scream miserably in his concentration.

The next day, the old monk asked Master Jiechen about the matter.

He was surprised when he heard it, thinking: "He even knew that I put a flea on the ground, and he also heard the flea's cry. The concentration was very good."

It’s really amazing!” You can see that the state of pure body and mind is really incredible.

Later, the two of them went to Yunnan to open a bodhimaṇḍa together.

At that time, in 1957, there were some senior teachers in Yunju mountain who were over 80 years old and knew about these things.

They said that the old Master Jiechen was also very remarkable.

He had foreseen the departing time, took leave of absence from the public, and then passed away in a sitting position.

後來，有一次，老和尚入定十八天。山上其它人知道了，都來參拜他。他感到厭煩，於是他們倆便背著背架子朝峨嵋山去了。

一天晚上，他們倆在一個沒有人住的小破廟過夜。老和尚說睡到半夜時，戒塵法師有跳蚤在他身上咬，他就把跳蚤放在地下，跳蚤摔倒地上，把腿摔掉了，老和尚在定中聽到那跳蚤叫得很慘。

翌日，老和尚就將此事查問戒塵法師，他聽後感到很驚訝，心想：「竟然連我放一隻跳蚤在地上他都知道，而且還聽到跳蚤的喊叫聲，定中的功夫真是了不起啊！」可知身心清淨的境界真是不可思議。

後來他們倆一起到雲南去開辦道場。當時五七年，雲居山有一些八十多歲的老師父都知道這些事情的。

他們說那位戒塵老法師也很了不起，後來是預知時至，先行向大眾告過假後，坐著往生的。
