sent Gun's son Yu to
control the floods.
舜帝派鯀的兒子禹去治水,

been married for four days and embarked on a journey to control the floods.
禹告別新婚四天的妻子踏上治水的征途,
He had been controlling the floods for 13
years.
治水13年,
He passed by his house three times
without returning, and finally achieved success.
曾經3次路過家門而不回,終於取得了成就。
Shun
believed that Yu could serve the people
diligently and frugally, so he gave way to him.
