1.         In doing we learn.

從做中學。

 

2.  Though old and

 wise, yet still advise.

   不恥下問。

3.  Practice makes

 perfect.

  熟能生巧。

 

4.  What the heart

 thinks the tongue

 speaks.

  心口如一。

  (心有所想則口說)

 

5.  The proof of the

 pudding is in the

 eating.

以驗為憑。

(經歷過才知道)

 

6. Take a back seat.

    甘拜下風。

7. Not to advance is

 to go back.

  不進則退。

8. Even Homer

 sometimes nods.

   智者千慮，

   必有一失。
